My wife and I will be overnighting in Dubai later this year on our way from Boston to Zambia. We have never been to Dubai (or Zambia) before. Any suggestions for a fine hotel in Dubai will be much appreciated. Thanks. Best, Mike Wilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer. | ||

Mike, You should ask Emirates. They have partner hotels all over the city, and I am sure they will find a good deal for you. A few years back I had a very nice three bedroom suite at the Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel. The room was on a high floor overlooking the Palm Jumeriah (the man-made palm tree-shaped island) and the yachts in the marina. The dining room table sat eight, plenty big enough for meetings. At the time, the bar on the top floor had a 35 year old Ardbeg single malt that almost made me forget I was there for business. Mike | |||
