My sources on the ground in Zim say as long as you have a negative PCR test upon arrival you can go direct to camp and not worry about the multiple testing instituted recently. I was also told if your flights are delayed causing your PRC test to expire to contact your safari operator as soon as you can while in transit. They should be able to arrange an alternative to get you on your hunt.

That's good news. I would guess the restriction on travel between cities does not apply to going into camp. Those Zim guys will work things out.

That is correct. Had a client arrive Harare yesterday. He overnighted in Harare and was on his way to camp this AM.

Mark, how “old” can the Covid test results be when you arrive in Zimbabwe? I’ve read 48 hours and I’ve seen 72 hours. What’s the truth?

48 hours is my current understanding. A Covid test can be arranged in JNB on the way. if you've booked with Gracy Travel Bruce can arrange it for you. I'm sure that other entities can do the same for clients. This could be very helpful if your test is about to outdate.
