Well were headed to Namibia next july considering were traveling from DFW, what is the going rate for coach flights? I have found a few out through JNB 2650.00, but didn't know if we needed to wait, or if the Frankfurt route would be any more reasonable. Also, should I book now or hold off for a little while?

I went over four times this year and it was 25 0r 2600 through Frankfurt. You can find cheaper but the Germans won't steal or loose your guns. Thats the way I see it after talking to several clients that have flown other routes. $1000 more but you 30,000 dollar rifle will be there when you are.

Here's a suggestion. Two years ago three of us flew to Windhoeck via Frankfurt and stayed over 2-3 days in Germany. We found an affordable hotel near the train station, took a day trip to Koln (Cologne) to see the incredible cathedral there, etc. We had a wonderful time just walking around Frankfurt, shopping, viewing the sights. You wipe out all of your longitude between here and Frankfurt, so you're pretty much over the jet lag when you get to Windhoeck. PM me if I can help.
