I am traveling to Zimbabwe at the end of July. Assuming the rules do not change Zimbabwe requires a PCR Covid test 48 hours prior to arrival. With a 13 hour layover that is impossible to do. As the best I can do is get results the day before departure. Is there a place at the Dubai International airport to get tested so I can fulfill the Zim requirements.

By July many things can change. Currently you get tested here if you do not have a negative test. Also not sure that Emirates will allow you on without a negative test. Check with them, and I suggest you wait until at least June to see what is going on. So many things can change in 6 months time.

Oh, I am planning on being tested before I leave. It just will be more than 48 hours for the test by the time I arrive at Zimbabwe. Interestingly most places require tests XX hours before the flight starting the trip. Zim requires 48 hours before arrival. I am just doing my homework for the current rules. Now, if the timestamp on the test is the test result time then I could be OK. If the timestamp on the test is when one takes the test then I am outside the window. Another concern is if the person checking the tests in Zimbabwe is cognizant of time changes as Zimbabwe is 10 hours ahead of California.
