I have a 9 hour layover in Frankfurt coming from Alaska and headed to JoBurg. Is there a quality airline lounge in Frankfurt? I am happy to pay for it. | ||

Yes, several I remember from a few years ago. I think you can get into some if you are a member of certain clubs, or have certain credit cards. I got in with my bank's Mastercard free of charge, and I think they charged others. | |||

I have made it a point to NEVER, EVER, fly a Star Alliance airline after what I saw Lufthansa routing passengers when they cancelled a flight. I was on that flight, and told the man routing everyone so. He was not very happy when I said “put me on Emirates. If you can’t or won’t I will do it myself!” | |||
