Back in 1999, when things weren't quite so bad in Zim, the "hospitality" (hotels, restaurants) industry went on strike. By the end of my 7 day hunt on the Zambezi (Chewore), they were flying in a lawyer to negotiate with the camp staff.

ddrhookthis same kind of thing was happening when I was in RSA April and as usual not a mention of it on the media outlets here.
