Paris with Rifle?

Anybody flown through CDG with firearms lately? Being told I'll have to claim luggage from Air France and recheck on Ethiopian. Final destination Banqui.

You will need at least 2 hours preferably 3 to get through CDG w a firearm. I have done it 4x. 2023 was the most recent was Welcome to Hell. I did not have to recheck flying Delta to Airfrance.

I did on the way back from Austria to CDG.

Do not forget to fill out the form for declaration of firearms if flying w AirFrance.
It is not enough to declare on tickets. This declaration has to be done in advance.
