Are there any restrictions on bringing knives into Zimbabwe? (Folding vs fixed blade) I would like to bring one or two and give them to the skinners on my next trip. Thank you for your responses. ZIMBABWE 2016 ZIMBABWE 2017 Zimbabwe 2019

never had a problem but don't use good knives -cheaper the better -as they dull they just swipe them on any old rock - last trip i brought a couple dozen some guy made from band saw blades that cost a buck each they were thrilled

Knives are very welcome and no issue. I bought a box of Vitorinox parring knives at about $5 each and the crew loved them. I have had 4 of these knives in my kitchen knife block since 2001. They still give good service. Mark MARK H. Another suggestion for knives for the crew is the Cold Steel Pocket Bushman. They’re very stout for a folder. I’ve seen them being used by skinners and trackers several years after I gave them to them. Thats a pretty good testimonial. I usually take 5 or 6 of them.
