The wife and I just got back and man the travel sure was good this time!

All flights where on time going and comming. Houston to Atlanta to Jo'berg to Phalaborwa.

Atlanta was FAST through customs and Immigration. The officials where even pleasant and smilling.......scared me to death. The firearms reentry in Atlanta had changed and was taken care of right by the luggage carousel. All of the TSA people I dealt with where pleasant and professional but friendly.

I was pleasantly suprised! We need more sequestration!!!!!!!

JTEX - Atlanta is the best city by far to clear US Customs. I hate to attempt it anywhere else.

The new international terminal at Hartsfield is for sure a winner over the old. Sounds like they got the hang of clearing firearms now. I traveled to RSA about a week after they opened the new terminal. On our return Customs was overwhelemed by the amount of hunters and guns on the return flight and only had a couple agents verifying 4457's. They had to call in reinforcements. Took over an hour for me to get thru.

It is still early in the season....but it looks promising.
