Yes, BA has Rolls Royce engine problems, causing problems for BA. For example BA will no longer fly from DFW, however their code-share partner AA will make up the difference. That said BA added a second flight from Austin to Heathrow. I am sure Qatar will make up the difference on the lost BA flights between Heathrow and Doha. BA's problem will be getting back that LHR-DOA business after its customers are used flying Qatar.

10+ years ago Air New Zealand had issues with the new Pratt & Whitney Trent engines but they had a service contract with P&W such that P&W had to supply leased aircraft at their expense if a certain percentage of Trent engines were inoperable.

It almost bankrupted P&W because that had to supply 2 Airbus aircraft and the crews to operate them for almost two years. None of the ANZ pilots or crews were licensed to operate the Airbus platform so P&W was on the hook for the crews also.

The results of DEI!

Just saw a report of Jaguar Motors.

They employed an expert in DEI to revitalize the company.

Changed everything, had 15 separate DEI groups established, and announced that about 85% of the company's normal customers won"t like it, so what!!??

Folks,

I've seen the ad. I'm very sure that it will turn lots of people off from considering a Jag. Men in drag and no cars in the ad. That's just marketing genius. Confused

I think Jaguar is owned by an Indian company now.

Their stupid CEO just came out defending his decision!

Yesterday at our breakfast in the desert a family who have had 3 Jaguars said they are not going to get another one!

Did they learn nothing from the Bud Light debacle?

It is worse than that.

Just look at the major problems some big companies are having!

I have absolutely no doubts that these are all due to incompetence.

Because they had to follow DEI rules!

Tick boxes so a woman or a minority should get the job.

Instead of picking the best person for the job.

Regardless of who or what he or she is.
