When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Has anyone used one of these devices? Looks like a great idea.

I had 2 initial thoughts/concerns. First, will it work in say, South Africa, other African countries? Second, assuming it does work, and your suitcase is misplaced or, even worse, stolen, would the owner be able to get/convince anyone in the legal establishment to help recover it?

I think I am going to buy to put in my gun case when I go to Zim, according to the website it should work everywhere but South Korea and Japan. for $89.95 that is awful cheap compared to losing a double or even one day of hunting.

I thought it was a great idea until I read this:

Zero Halliburton brief cases or metal cases or metal luggage of any type, can severely attenuate the cellular system and compromise reporting.

So it won't work in my guncase. Maybe it would if you used a Pelican or a Toughpack.
