Headed to Zim on Monday morning. I booked this trip at Reno in 08' so to say its been a long wait would be an understatement!

I hunted Zim in 04' for trophy Ellie and Buff and look forward to hunting the same with my dad this time next week. I hunted with Matapula the last time and will again this time as well. I am especially excited for my dad who has never hunted elephant before and has never experienced being amongst them.

We wiill be spending the night of the 13th at the Afton in Joburg if any fellow AR'rs are there at the same time let me know.

Bags are packed and ammo is loaded just counting the days now. I plan on putting another 20 or so rounds through my 500 this weekend and we'll be ready to go.

Great stuff. Congrats and enjoy the time in the bush with your dad.
