THANKSGIVING IN DALLAS

Folks,

It's looking like we may find ourselves with a couple of days to kill in Dallas over the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. What should we look at seeing or doing other than visiting gun shops in the Dallas area? We are pretty much up for anything.

Thanks,

Mark

Mark, if you have never been to where JFK was shot it is well worth the time and fee. Museum is awesome.

Dallas World Aquarium and Perot Museum, both excellent and close to one another (but the aquarium can’t be visited properly in a short time).

Ft. Worth Zoo and the Wilhelm Kuhnert exhibit is well worth a visit if you have time...

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

If you’re really bored and rich, the Cowboys play “your” Raiders Thanksgiving day.

Guys,

Thanks for all the helpful info. The Thanksgiving game might be interesting but definitely is not in my budget.

I think you will find more to do in Tarrant County then Dallas County. Ft Worth has Sundance Square entertainment zone, the stockyards, The Kimbell and some others. Grapevine has a nice downtown and a train to the stockyards.
