If I remember correctly we stayed in a Hilton that is actually attached to the airport. We clear customs, gathered our luggage, walked a short distance and checked into the hotel. They let us take our guns right to the room. Easy Peasy!

We did the same thing-only with the Airport Sheraton. The transfers to Paris' city center were all there-either by taxi, bus, train/subway or whatever you wanted.

Don't know your taste, but if you like the smaller, non-chain hotels, there's a small family run hotel place near Napoleon's tomb where my wife stays every year. She loves it. I'll ask the name.

That may not be what you're looking for at all.
She likes it because they know her by name and they catch up on kids and all that every year.
