I will have a night in Harare on July 7th. What are the popular places to stay in Harare?

I have stayed at the Bronte the last two years post safari. Great place with excellent dining on the premises. The picture on the home page does ZERO justice to the place.

A strong second for Sunbird. Stayed there last year. Great place, great food and great service. Will stay again if lucky enough to get back to Zim.

Another vote for Sunbird Guest House. Stayed there both before and after my safari in Chirisa last year. Pick-up/drop-off at the airport, good food and service.

Its been about 10 years, but we stayed in a hotel downtown harare called the mickleis. (I think)
It was older, and victorian,I remember the bar was unique with all the old photos etc. Kind of like the livingston bar at the Vic Falls Hotel.
Worth stopping by even if you don't stay there.
I don't even know if they are still in business though.
