What is happening with their maintenance??



One minute they are announcing record profits, and next.....?

And they pulled them all off perfectly. So what's the bloody issue?

I tend to get worried when one airline company has this many incidents in one day!

I just read that a FOURTH emergency landing had to be made??

troubling to hear about 4 emergency landing by one company.

It makes one think that something is going on.

Maintenance is one thing however 4 make me think something else is taking place...

Were these all Scarebus aircraft?

Early this year, BA had a spat of very silly emergencies, which makes one think something IS wrong.

One was a plane had to make an emergency landing because some maintenance nitwit forgot to bolt down the engine cover??

Another one was also a maintenance person forgot some instrument setting in front of the engine, and it got sucked into it as it started??

This sort of thing does make one wonder what is going on.

And I don't think this has anything to do with the Airbus.

SAS pilots ( Scandinavian Airline ) have gone public today in Norway saying that the industry is going to have major accidents within 24 months unless something is done about maintanance, security, resting of pilots etc etc. They think that security and routines developed in many years now are threatened buy low price airliners, employee contracts and a much more deversified responsibility in the industry.
