I recieved an ad today in the mail from the NRA for a program called Emergency Assistance. It is supposed to be world wide.

Has anyone used this service? The rates are very reasonable.

On these Emergency Assistance program's, read the fine print. You want one that will "Take you to the hospital of YOUR choice". I don't think the NRA one has this.
In the states, this would not be a problem, but in Africa it could be.
My wife and I have been to Europe 3 times and always use Medjet Assist. Thank goodness, never had to use them. They will take you to the hospital of your choice.
My wife and I will be going on safari to Namibia next May and will take out the Medjet Assist plan.
