What you have to bear in mind any countries don’t allow their citizens to travel to Africa.

The Europeans cannot.

Only those with permanent jobs in other countries can.

Not many guys traveling at the moment. Europe has put a travel warning on the rest of the world, which makes it hard.
We you could fly to Africa from the EU. Just not many flights available.
And when you come back you will have to do a covid test and you are supposed to self quarantine for 2 weeks (or until the test results are back).
