Double damn ! Please accept my sympathies.

Will it ever stop, or will it just get worse?

Sad news. SA is going down the toilet in a big way and there is no turning back now.

My condolences.

Sorry to hear that Frank. Do not think of the power business as being high risk, at least in this respect.

The violence seems so random. No one is really safe, I fear. At least the ANC is under fire ...

Horrible news Frank.
My condolences...
What was your friends name? Can't say that I picked it up in the local news or newspapers.
That is why I am typing this with a Kimber 45 under my shirt.

Martinus,

His name is Rene Medrano and he worked for Black and Veatch there in Pretoria. I've been searching the news for more information but haven't found anything. His family here in the States are telling us that his coworkers reported him missing last week and he was apparently abducted and killed on his way home from work.

Very sad news. My condolences. I'm surprised something like this did not make the mainstream news in South Africa.

My condolences. I also had a friend murdered there a few years back, he was in the hunting business. I have pretty much ruled out SA as a destination for hunting. There is a lot going on there that is not good.

Terrible news that, I just came home from 5 months in SA hunting & guiding, it was far above my expectations in all ways & would run rings around Australia as a country for me to live in !

Even with the race problems it has !

Sad news for sure. Danger everywhere these days but not going to let it stop me from enjoying what I love to do.
