Jeff-You are getting close. I do not leave until July 18. Delta to Joberg, SAA to Windhoek, then puddle jumper to Caprivi.

We seldom get to choose
But I've seen them go both ways
And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory
Than to slowly rot away!

July 11- leave Boise- to Atlanta- arrive Joburg

Aug 6- do it in reverse with an extra stop in Salt Lake on the way home.
All on Delta Airlines.

I really hate the flying part but it is well worth it for the time on the ground.
Sitting in that seat makes my butt tired. moon

Less than 24 hours until my 24 year old son and I leave for our first safari. I'm pretty sure I'll sleep on the plane, cause I don't think I'll sleep tonight.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Yep, apparently we'll be on the same flight, although I'd have to go back and find the number, no tickets yet. I'm taking my 14 yr old son for his first trip to Africa. I'll buy you a drink or whatever.

We haven't got our tix yet either. I expect to get them in a few weeks from Gracy. Your son is both lucky and cursed. Lucky to experience Africa at such a young age. Cursed because he will probably go broke trying to go back every year!
