Anyone know when the Sea Cliff will be open? Where is a good place to stay before/after hunt? I have stayed at the Golden Tulip and it was just OK.

The New Sea Cliff Hotel will not open before January 2009.
Seacliff Court is therefore the Choice.

I'm staying at the Kilimanjaro Hotel Kempinski upon arrangement by my PH. Didn't ask, but upon checking the web site just this week, it said average room prices are $1,000 plus. Better not be or we'll have an issue, but I'll let ya'll know.

Checked it out on line, looks like a very nice place.

At the current exchange rate, a standard room is about $200/nite.

In September '06, I stayed at the Movenpick going in and out. Very nice hotel with a bakery, a very good restaurant with breakfast buffet, gift shop, and a bank just across the street with an ATM. I'd readily stay there again. Very nice hotel. I understand some PH's frequent the bar there.
