To my way of thinking, an airplane cabin at 30,000 ft is no place to be disruptive, the guy is probably lucky he only got duct taped to his seat. Karl Evans

Can't remember which year it was, but it was the only time a KLM flight attendant was rude to me. I went to get something out of my carryon and she lit into me and said I couldn't get any alcohol out of my bag. I think I was looking for glasses. There was no alcohol in my bag. In fairness to her, there were a bunch of North Sea roughnecks on board and they were pretty unruly. They were escorted off the flight by the authorities in Amsterdam.

This happened in 1981. I was traveling on British Caledonian, Houston to London. 747, an we were 2 passengers in First. Just before take off, a whole bunch of noisy men appeared in our cabin. Within minutes, they wanted me and the other First Class passenger to sit next to each other. I told them I was not moving from my seat. One said “this one is refusing to move. What shall we do?” I got up and went to the stewardess, and told he I don’t feel comfortable with unruly idiots in the cabin, informing her of what was said. She said “please go back to your seat. I will inform the captain.” A couple of minutes later, the captain appeared. “Gentlemen, who is in charge of this group?” A man answered. The captain asked him to go forward with him. A few minutes later he was back, and you can see there has been a total change of attitude. Later on, the stewardess explained that they were rig workers in the Far East, and they had a contract with British Caledonian, so they were upgraded because they were urgently required to travel. The captain apparently said he was landing in London, and if there is any further complaints of their behavior they will remain in London and their company would be informed of their behavior! Funny thing is we got served First Class meals. Not them, they got economy packs!

He says his parents are worth $2 millions! Bloody hell! I never thought money is supposed to make you an idiot! Obviously, his parents were too busy making their 2 million dollars instead of bringing him up properly! I do hope he ends up in jail. May a lesson in shower might open his eyes!

I hope he went to jail, too. I think being disruptive and threatening on an airplane is a good way to arrive at your destination with a fresh ass whipping. 30,000 feet up is not the place to act up. Karl Evans

Love the mug shot. He was pretty red-faced where they had put duct tape over his mouth.
