Although I have travelled a bit, I have never used a lounge before. Never seen one that I recall. Anyway, coming back from Zim October 1 and have an 8 hour layover at Dulles. Im on Ethiopian then the layover, then on to alaska air to get home. Neither has a lounge in DC so can I go to "any" lounge and pay my way in or do I need to be a member? It will be a very long day from Harare, Lusaka, AA, Dublin to Washington so I was hoping for a place to relax. Thanks!

You can purchase a day pass to the United Lounge... I would others as well..

The pass can be bought in advance and printed out. The lounges were somewhat limted in food selection due to covid but hopefully they are back up to speed now..
