Considering bring a compact drone for pictures and videos(under 250Grams). Does anyone know of any import or use restrictions?

I can tell you that drones were being used in Coutada 11 week before last. Karl Evans

It might be easier to wire the money for a drone to your PH. Recently I wired money to my videographer in Zambia so that she could purchase a drone for an Ele hunt I'm doing in late August. Trying to bring one in from the states is hit or miss.

Some of the countries (I think Moz is one) have a law that drones need to be licensed. It may be hit or miss for it to be enforced, but it still could suck to get hit with it. I’d probably prefer to pay a photographer/videographer to do it than fiddle with it myself. When I hunted Moz last year, it was probably the most wildlife photography I’ve done, mainly due to the ease of taking photos in the day at waterholes… if I’m trying to hunt and take photos, I usually do a really half-a##ed job of both.
