Does anyone know if the proposed 15% VAT tax has gone into effect in Zim, and are hunters and Zim outfitters included?

Yes, it is in effect but my sense is that most outfitters have figured out a way around by breaking down the safari components into discrete buckets. Had no impact on my hunt costs in February.

Its only apportioned to the accommodation part of the hunt. in my case it is approx. $22US per day extra. I would expect day fees /rates to increase slightly to take this into account in the future
