Nyassa Air Taxi to Lichinga and on to Sable Camp Fri afternoon for a month among the African beasts and tsetse flies.

It will be a long trip, but converting lots of dreams into memories is well worth the time and effort. It will be good to get back into the bush.

Are you hunting with Mr. Calitz? I think he has the sable camp, if I am not mistaken. Wish I were going- sounds like a dream trip!

i am leaving for Moz in 4 hours. Fresno to SLC to ATL to Joburg. arrive in Joburg Monday afternoon, on to Camp in the Zambezi Delta on Tuesday. hunting with Bahati Adventures.

I am hunting Johann Clitz' concession -- L2 @ Niassa (Sable Camp) -- but I'm actually hunting with Vlam Myburg of Madubula Safaris. I've always hunted with Madubula, although always in South Africa before this. They're used to us crazy handgun hunters.

It will be hot to be sure, but that area is one of the rare remaining truly wild areas in Southern Africa and I'm very much looking forward to the experience.

I'd love to hunt near the Zambezi one time just for the chance to catch a Tiger Fish. I'll make it happen one day soon.

I am taking some fishing tackle and plan to give it a try
