Does a tuffpak with a couple of guns and some gear in it have a 50 pound weight limit or is it more since its sporting equiptment? I will be flying delta from atlanta to joberg then saa on a connecting flight. thanks

I have had it both ways. Some agents will be OK, and call it sporting good and let it go up to 75#, others won't. The worst example I had was the lady who said " You're OK with golf clubs at 55#" and when I said, no, that is the unloaded firearms, she said that then I couldn't bring them if they were over 50#.

I had to get a manager to allow me to pay the overage fee.


Note that it can weigh more, you just have to pay overage, but the ammo is fixed at 5 KG.
