It looks like a Delta jet chopped the tail off of a Canada Regional Jet (CRJ) taxiing in Atlanta. The collision happened just after 10 a.m. at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport while Delta Flight 295 was taxiing for departure and struck Endeavor Air Flight 5526, the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement. This has always fascinated me. Planes are supposed to move on painted lines on the tarmac. These accidents only happen because one planes does not follow this rule. | |||

Every time that I've seen this, it was because a large jet was cutting the corner and the pilot forgot the wingspan.
