I have a Red Stag/Wingshoot booked for La Pampa fly into Santa Rosa go from there. 1. How heavy a clothes should I take? 2. I will not be bringing my rifle with me and have always put my knife and other accessories of value in Tuffpak. I would have to put in checked bag. How big of a chance am I taking with this by checking in bag? 2. I have a long layover in BA on return. What is the BA airport like could I get into a lounge? Are there a lot of shops for me to pick up a few things? The outfitter has been helpful just looking for other side of fence input. All is appreciated. The weather will be pleasant, as it is their fall. A jacket for mornings and evenings will be good. There really shouldn’t be a need for a knife unless you want to butcher/cape your stag. In BsAs, ask your outfitter for a guide. It may be $100, but worth it. BsAs is like one of the biggest cities in the world. It also depends on which airport, AEP is in the city, while EZE is outside a bit. I meant to be DSC Member...bad typing skills. Marcus Cady DRSS

There is an American Express lounge in EZE. It is quite nice. If you have the Centurion card, it is even nicer. The airport is large. It is a long way from say the A terminal to the C terminal. Some areas are nicer than others. I have always found the food to be lacking. It can be quite crowded. There are a number of shops. Personally, none of them interested me. To each his own.

I just returned through BA two days ago. I would echo what Larry said about the airport. It is suggested that you allow three hours before the flight for check in, etc. It took us all of 90 minutes. The Delta line was long and understaffed. If you have time given that requirement do get a guide as DCS suggested. There is a ton to see. And many wonderful places to eat.

I am supposed to return back to BA at 7:10 am an my US Delta to ATL flight leaves at 8:10pm. So how much time would you say I comfortably have to do something in BA? Q: What does I do with bag(s)? I read you can't check earlier than 3hrs. and closed lockers. Q: How do you line up a guide? I would like to go to a nice eatery and shop/see a little bit. I appreciate the responses. Not sure how to source your guide but you have plenty of time. The guide should be able to help with your bags. Not sure about lockers, sorry. We ate on the water, at a place called "Happenings". Very good.

EZE is a bit outside of BsAs and it sounds like you will be flying into there. My prior post was based upon whether you were flying into AEP (the local airport) from Santa Rosa. It can be far, as EZE is a decent distance/duration due to the traffic. Your arriving airport will make a big difference. AEP puts you in the city. Arriving at EZE could knock out any chance to go back and forth due to unknowns. Should you need transport from AEP to EZE, your outfitter should know someone that can be trusted to take and show you some good places with a limited amount of time. The lack of rifles may should make this essier because of the regulations. I still suggest a trusted guide. I might have one, or others here might. Curios and such at the airport are bad. Normally, you can find things to take home prior to leaving the hunting area. Gaucho knives, beautiful silver jewelry. If you decide to stay at the airport, $50 or so gets in a lounge if you’re not a member. BsAs is a great place, but a big city and be careful if you don’t speak Spanish, but the same as our big cities. And good luck on your hunt! I meant to be DSC Member...bad typing skills.
