I flew on Delta today and noticed in the in-flight magazine that Delta is anticipating opening service direct between Atlanta and Nairobi.

Was wondering if this might be of use for us hunting in Tanzania (paricularly Lake Natron, Lobo, Lokisale, Maswa)? I do not know how difficult firearms permitting through Kenya might be. A direct flight from Atlanta to East Africa could be really nice though! Your thoughts?

It sounds doable but my understanding is that it only works if you are able to handle everything yourself in Kenya and you do not have guns and ammo. I looked into it once and the safari company talked me out of it.
