I haven't heard anything. We're due to go through there in late August. Gracy Travel set it up and I've used Afton before. Let me know if you don't hear anything. I'm just up the road from Gracy's offices and I'd be glad to give them a ring.

I would suggest that you address any concerns regarding the Afton house to Gracy travel -- I am resonably sure they are in daily contact with The Afton House. I am guessing that things may be a bit hectic at Afton house and they simply do not have time to respond -- call Gracy travel and I am confident they will be able to answer your questions.

OMG!-- my bow is "pull-push feed" - how dreadfully embarrasing!!!!!

I am also having problems getting Afton Guest House to respond to my request for assistance in completeing the SAPs form. I have reservations there both going and coming to Zambia.

Susan Hill with Gracey has dropped them a em. on our behalf. Someone else has mentioned to her that they were having difficulty getting them to respond.

49 Days and counting and its off to shoot a buff.

...why not call Afton Guest House direct:

011 27 11 391 7625, or 011 27 11 391 4393

Worked for me.

I was there recently and due to power surge problems in Johannesburg, they have had repeated computer problems.

Might be best to call them directly.

I just got an em from Louis at the Afton Guest House asking me to post that his computer is now up and running and that he is now communicating via em.

He is sending me some sample SAP FORMS FOR ZAMBIA.

THANKS LOUIS

Brice-

I suspect they have observed how badly you treat me and are reconsiderating associating with you.

Reconsiderating? Maybe you should lay off the Kool Aid LRH.

Notice to all: Louis got back to me as soon as he could. Apparently there was an error in the email address I entered. Afton's service and capability remain impeccable. Please don't infer otherwise from my previous post. It would be quite unfair to Afton.

We made reservations a year in advance, and were still shuffled off to the Eland House. Mike at Eland is a nice guy, at least.
