tanksTSA personnel are not law enforcement personnel with arrest powers. They are not going to chase a suspect and will have to wait for LEOs to come to the scene.

Use Enough GunI recall taking an entire troop of Boy Scouts to the Boy Scout National Jamboree on the East Coast just a few weeks prior to 9/11, and all of the Scouts and the leaders carrying pocket knives on the plane without any issue (had to be, I believe, less than 6 inches of blade). Times certainly did change. . . . .
