Doing some preliminary research for a trip to Burkina Faso. I've never traveled to a country that required a visa, so this process is new to me. I've seen some sources saying a visa can be obtained on arrival in Burkina, but this may be old. So it looks like I will have to get it from the Burkina Faso embassy in D.C. Is this correct? If so, was this a long process or short?

I have done it twice. Sent passport to DC and they return it with a visa. It was quick and easy, just a little nervous about sending my passport through the mail. DRSS Searcy 470 NE

Try G3 Visa service. They have done a great job of getting me visas to out of the way places, including BF. Easiest to just get it from the embassy in DC. It takes about a week. https://burkina-usa.org/visa-application/ If we can help you plan a trip to Burkina please let me know. We have taken more American clients to BF than everyone else combined!
