I just got a fare alert that Star Alliance airlines (United, Lufthansa, Swissair and Ethiopian) are running a short sale on fares to DAR Es Salaam and Zanzibar.

SFO to DAR round trip under $650 IAH to DAR $586.00 Date restrictions apply but September-December are included. Some of you guys might want to check these out.
