Not so sure, Saeed. Not a bad idea, IMO.

I have flown plenty of first class and have generally found it only marginally more luxurious and far more costly than I want, when compared with business class.

I don't fly 1st anymore, unless the price is right, which is rarely.

As long as the quality of business class does not suffer and the price of business class does not rise out of proportion to prices generally, I think Raja is on the right track.

I have to agree with Mike. Having flown both business and first I think the actual difference in comfort is negligible.

If I have a fully reclining seat and decent food and drink I'm more than happy.

For years airlines have been upgrading business class and cutting out the first class section on flights. Current business class is better on some airlines (such as Qatar) than first was 10 years ago. Then they introduced premium economy which basically replaced the original business class.

I like having my separate cabin.

Undisturbed by anyone else.

Never had my own cabin, but business class on KLM is pretty darn nice. Love the Dutch cheeses.

We were flying on Lufthansa, from Munich back to Dubai.

Several families in First.

No one else but us.

We asked for the temperature to be raised, as the kids were cold.

The captain came and told us he will leave the cockpit door open, and anyone is welcome there anytime!

How times have changed! rotflmo

Closest I have come to that is Qatar QSuite. Best business class that I have ever experienced. Beats the heck out of AA or BA first class.

There is definitely a difference between First and Business class.

I have used both, and I certainly prefer First.

Never done first class and probably never will unless they offer something over the top, like dancing girls. No, I'm too old for dancing girls.
Business class is just fine for me.
