I like truffles for instance; but unless you can harvest them yourself (with the help of a trusty dog) you are going to pay and arm and a leg for them in a restaurant. Sometimes worth doing.

And good wine is worth the indulgence too.

I'm in Idaho's camp, Kudu and a cool, if possible, beer.

The gold is pretty much inert and will not poison you, there are some liquors with gold flakes.
My worries are it would just clog the system.
