Hi Dave - welcome aboard. I'm just across the bay from you outside of Annapolis. There are several AR members in this area up into PA. At some point it would be nice for all to link up for introductions and to put faces with screen names.

It looks as if your note is a reply to John Crighton's message. If so, this hint might be helpful (if not call me a busy body and ignore it.) ... When you would like to reply to a message, go to the lower right corner of the message box and click the reply tab. That way your text stays in the thread with the original note instead of as a new topic - and it's faster too.

Oday450 - I stand corrected and thank you for the suggestion. I am sure that as I go along navigating the AR forum I will make plenty of mistakes so the advice is much appreciated.

I agree that it would be a great idea for us AR forum members in this area to get together sometime.

I highlight the text in the message being replied to by clicking and dragging the mouse - then click the reply tab and it's all done for me.

You can also highlight and copy text using the right mouse button then click reply. In the reply dialog screen you click the quote button over the text box then paste your copied text between the two [quote] signs. But it's easier just to highlight the desired text and click reply.

BTW - I learned by trying - I'm not an expert in this application by any stretch. Don't be afraid to try something. You don't have to post it if it doen't look just right and you can edit or delete posts usng the little folders in the lower right of the messages in the thread.
