I've asked Terry, a frequent hunter to Africa , to write an article for me containing all his best Air Travel Tips (especially for hunters travelling to Africa). He did just that and I think this info is great for anyone who is planning an African Safari.

I would add that if you can swing the time, arrive 2 to 3 days prior to your safari starting. You can get over your jetlag and acclimate, see some sites and if your bags do not arrive with you, these few days will give the airline time to get them for you prior to your hunt.
