These are discussed in other threads on this forum but I have a bit different question regarding TCs. Should one leave the TC records/recipts at home when traveling to RSA as you are supposed to keep TCs separate from the record/receipt you are given when they are purchased? I leave Sat. on the Delta Flight to JNB. Anyone else out there on that flight? Thanks so much!

You will need access to the cheque numbers and your register of which have been spent if you lose them and want replacements. I usually leave them locked in my gun case after the flight - available but not carried with the cheques. I also leave copies at home and send myself a scanned copy via email and so that I can access the mail account and get them from the internet if needed.
