Normally one thinks of paintings or bronzes of wildlife.....but here is another way to look at it. Most folks just hang a kudu on the wall But there is more you can do with a Kudu.....like make salt and pepper shakers from the horns Here is a sample of what you can do with warthog teeth (these found after a lion kill) The item in the center is a conch.....found about sixty miles from the Indian ocean But if you want to do something with Pronghorns and elk horns.....here are some ideas. For reference the kudu horns came from Ebay.....the elk horn from a scrub bull in Colorado. The larger pronghorn horn found on a ranch near Buena Vista New Mexico and the other smaller horns from Wyoming via Handwerk who posts here. Thanks Handwerk for the donation. They made a great butter knife and sugar spoon. Also thanks to Ted Rambow of the Thal ranch in New Mexico for giving me the larger pronghorn horn.....It makes a great paper towel holder. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."
