just finished this piece of 7inch Optical crystal hand engraved on both front and back to give a 3 dimensional effect featuring Arabian Oryx, which had become extinct in the wild by 1972, but thankfully due to special breeding projects from collections of captive animals both in the middle east and USA these beautiful antelope have now been reintroduced into Oman, Saudi Arabia,UAE, Jordan and Israel and the numbers are increasing .

Perhaps you could auction one to raise awareness about the current plight.
Due to rampant poaching the Jordanian and Omani herds are now down to minimal numbers again. Many of the remaining Omani animals are now in tennis court like enclosures guarded by the Harrasis tribe. There were about 28 animals left out in the wild when I was in the Jiddat. They had guards armed with R1's looking out for them on full time patrol. They have many stories of being fired upon by poachers.
There are many illegal collections now in the UAE that have their origins in Oman. Several also went into Saudi.
Sad reality, but when the royals are paying Dhs 100 000 per animal most anyone will take a chance.
