David WhymanHunter with Puma
This is the first commission I have received from a member on AR. from SF Ranger7GP
Larry shot a very large puma in Argentina and wanted to have his photo with the puma hand engraved onto a decanter -this I did on the front of the decanter and a moonlight scene on the back. I engraved the moon a little bigger than you can see in his photo which he e-mailed me to work from.

SFRanger7GPDavid,
Words cannot describe how pleased I am with this. Thank you.........Larry
That is unbelievably good!
"There are worse memorials to a life well-lived than a pair of elephant tusks." Robert Ruark
I think I'm developing another set of expensive ideas.

SFRanger7GPDavid: He is.
Vance: You should get you one made if David can keep your mug from breaking the crystal!

vlwtx348Larry is my mortal enemy. . .but he's the only friend I have.
Larry, you notice I didn't ask how much the decanter cost. I doubt I could afford it and the "special treatment" my mug would require. I might even need two decanters to place side-by-side. Unless he can do one in landscape mode
It IS a very nice decanter and puma.

vlwtx348David, I may be talking to you soon. My wife and I are going to Namibia in August. My house has more dead animals than it needs. A nice set of etched decanters may just be what Mama wants. We can drink cheap whiskey out of them while we lay on our zebra rug!

Some people have all the luck apart from the cheap whisky - sure wish I was going to Namibia, hunted in South Africa in 2008 and 2009 but with this severe recession in England have had to restict any further visits ,just love Africa

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......
