If you're taking it to Africa, or anywhere else abroad, consider that proper headstamp should be a consideration. Not sure what a 9.5x74R would give you over the proven 9.3x74R.

i had a large amount of 375 bullets and free 9.3x74r brass on hand wanted 375 flanged but the brass is to hard to come by so this gives me a 375 caliber to shoot. I also thought it would be cool. If I was going out of the country and wanted to use the larger caliber barrel I would have the 3 changed to a five on the Norma brass. But since I have a double rifle in both 9.3x74r and 375 H&H I would use one of them.

Well the gun has arrived and the work is outstanding, I had no idea when this project started on how small the end product would turn out. With either barrel in place and no scope it weights 6.5 pound and balances at the hindge pin area in fact the overall feel is that of a high grade shotgun. The iron sights just come up to your eye level with just a thought. He did a outstanding job on this project and I would have do another. The photos posted above fail to show just small the project is or how great it feel in hand. I will try to post more photos to place its size in perspective. RNB
