Has anyone here gone full bore custom on a CZ 527?

Like action modifications, bolt handle, bridges? In the hopes of getting it to look like a mauser, I know it has that fugly bottom metal and for that matter had anyone here modify that, not just the magazine? I'm seriously considering giving it a go. It's been my passion for some time to try and retro fit a three position safety. Even it means trying to manufacture a new bolt. I just can't believe no one has modified one.I think it's a better, truer, option to the mini mauser.

Adam, talk to Ray. He designed a stock and, does a real nice bottom metal alteration. His aren't Mauser look a likes but cleaned up real nice.

I have been considering having Lon do one in 6.5 Grendel. Would make a nice Ohio whitetail rifle

James Anderson bought one with the intensions of making a lot of customs parts for them. Custom bottom metal, 3-position safety, etc. After taking it apart he changed his mind.

The idea of a custom action CZ527 is very appealing to me. I've been wanting one of the old ZKW465's for a long time too but never can find one at the right price.

The Mini Mauser does turn into a nice custom with the right work to it.

And if anyone would know just how georgous a mini mauser can be made to look, then Terry is the man. I cant say how often I have gone through this thread.
