The reason I ask is because there is an intriging line on his price list which says:

Shorten 98 Mauser leaving thumb notch, general polish inside and out . . . . . from $900

I don't know how much from $900 that ends up being, but that seems like a very good price to have a mauser shortened to make a .250 Savage!

Actually, I have spoken to him on a number of occasions on the phone. But that didn't do me any good to see some more pics of his rifles!!!

No website, but he has a pretty thorough pricelist.
