I have a Wesson Long Range action by Steve Earle that I would like to have built into a rifle. Back in the Spring you folks recommended I contact Roger Ferrell which I did. We came to an agreement on a build. However while waiting for a barrel Roger developed a health issue. He is no longer working. Can you recommend another builder that would be willing to take on this job? Thanks.

Hate to hear Roger is having health issues. A very nice gentleman and an excellent craftsman. I'll throw two more names in the mix, James Anderson has done some single shots and is quite accomplished and then there is our dean of the forum, Duane Wiebe... don't know how many projects they have in the works though. Forgot to mention Steven Dodd Hughs who posts here as SDH. He has done a number of single shots... Check with Steve Bertram. I have had him do work on classic single shots for me and have seen quite a few others he has done and the results have been outstanding. One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got into my pajamas I'll never know. - Groucho Marx

I’ve been in Jim’s shop and have seen a number of guns he’s made. They’re exceptionally nice. NRA Patron member

Aaron Little built me a 404, and is currently building a family member a gun. Mine is a stunner and the one in progress is shaping up to be a work of art. I've spoken to Aaron about single shots before, and I am sure he could rival the best with this. ----------------------------------------- "I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. -Henry David Thoreau, Walden
