Tasked Jim Kobe last year to put together a 9.3x62. I gave him an Argie action and a piece of walnut that was a bit over the top but I wanted to use it. Jim gave me back a gem in record time. The target shows the 10th, 11th and 12th shots out of this gun at 100 yds last year (Nosler Partition 286 over 64gr 414). Can't ask for much more. I have often just put it on my lap while I watch the ball game..just to look at it. Some of you know what I mean.

Great rifle, great caliber, great groups!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Hello Jon,

Great lines on that one, well done to Mr Kobe. I am one of those that understand, have done it myself on more that one occasion. They are a form of art. Why not just look at it.

Beautiful rifle and fine workmanship. This is a somewhat timely post for me. I was planning on contacting Jim about stocking my wifes new .375 when I get the barreled action back. After meeting Jim at DSC back in 2018 I like his, ah shall we say "straight forwardness". Something I always appreciate in a person.

Congrats to both of you; the artist and the owner! Super nice rifle.

Now, where/what do you hope to hunt with your masterpiece?

Thank you. Now I can tell my wife I'm not the only nut job that does this. tu2
