When the Charles Daly left handed were readily available I was not financially fixed to get any. After things improved in that regard the actions were hard to find. For some reason they have been turning up like crazy lately. I just found and bought a third one tonight. That's three in two months. I must be nuts.

You lefties need to start buying these things before I see them to save me from myself. nilly

"...I advise the gun. While this gives a moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprize, and independance to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks." I saw a couple of those CD mini's G33.40'ized. Pretty slick looking little action. May have been Duane Weibe's work if my memory is on point. One lefty, one righty. Ah...mirror mini's I think. He had pics on here some months ago.

Duane did a matched pair. Mine has had the G33/40 cuts. Dean Zollinger is stocking it at this time.

I would love to do the G33/40 work on the actions but I need to weigh the cost of that against their intended purposes. Two will be primarily fur calling rifle, one a 17 Remington and the other a 6mmx222.

I intend to do a Mannlicher stocked 222 on the third one but it is going to have to be a bit down the road. Maybe I could have that custom work done a bit at a time to spread the cost out. I know Duane has done the G33/40 cuts and I believe Shane Thompson has as well. Any idea what that work runs?

Mine was done by Karl Feldkamp of Kampfeld Rifles in Michigan. Great guy to deal with.
