Greetings all.

I'm contemplating a semi-custom aftermarket stock from Boyds for a new Zastava. There site's drop-down menu's show pretty slim pickings for "mauser" actions. But, on a whim, checking their options for the lowly JC Higgins 51 (FN) shows the full gamut of options.

Are they basically the same thing?

Thanks,
Bryce

I chose Santa Barbara for the last one that I ordered from them. It will fit a Zastava with minor work. You may need to inlet the safety, and make a small cut for the floorplate release if it is a side push button type. The #1 barrel channel fit a 30-06 Mark X pretty well

Otherwise, the Mauser 98 option will work, and you will have to do the above fitting.
