Very nice indeed!

It would be nice to have a CNC lathe, but chucking the stock in the spindle works pretty well on my mill.

It looks like if one ground off the ring those bolt handles could also work on a custom mauser or Winchester.

Why would I take the time to machine the complete 22 handle just to cut off most of the work? The knob is too small for full sized actions anyway.

You wouldn't! My comment was just to suggest that they are superb looking handles and would look nice on any custom rifle!!!

It always astounds me how some of the little things (like the bolt handle) can make such a dramatic difference in a rifle's appearance.

IMO a bolt handle alteration can ruin or complete a custom project. Done correctly they look like they belong there.
